Hump! Amateur Erotic Film Festival Pushed to 2021

LOS ANGELES — Organizers of the Hump! Amateur Erotic Film Festival, co-founded by sexpert Dan Savage, have pushed this year's in-person event from November to January 2021, with a new submissions deadline of December 4.

"Our annual festival, usually held in November with all-new films and audience ballots, will now be held at the beginning of every year," a festival rep explained. "So we’ll see you in January for Hump 2021, hopefully in theaters, but most assuredly online, with the same cornucopia of genders, kinks, body types, ages and fetishes."

"Thank you for your continued support," the rep continued. "We can't wait to see you in theaters again."

Earlier this year, organizers canceled a touring version of the celebration of amateur erotica due to the coronavirus pandemic and pivoted to an online presentation, which concluded last month.

A second online festival, "Hump! Greatest Hits, Volume 1," is a curated collection of its most popular short subjects from 2005 through 2018. One more virtual screening is set for Friday; click here for details.

In related news, Dan Savage will host another livestreamed presentation of his "Savage Love" sex advice column on July 30. Find ticketing and additional details here.
